The courses, designed by architects Harry and David Rainville are “Butterfield Stage” and “Chino Creek”. Both are 18- hole championship golf courses. Early in California statehood pioneers traveled to the wild-west. The stagecoach made the 2700 mile journey from St. Louis to San Francisco.
The “Butterfield Stage” course was named after a stagecoach stop local to the golf course property, the “Chino Creek” course was named for the rivers and creeks the stagecoach crossed. The El Prado property carries an early California/Spanish theme with mission tile, arched openings, large roof overhangs and colorful patio areas.
